Jared R. Ownbey, PLS, has over 4 years experience in the field of Land Surveying. He completed a two year Associate in Applied Science Degree in Surveying Technology at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College in May of 2004 where he graduated with top honors.

After graduation, he began his land surveying field experience in March of 2004. He went to work for WNC Land Surveyors, PLLC in November of 2005 where he began as a crew chief. He work his way up to senior crew chief where he supervised field work of numerous crews on extensive and large acre boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and GPS. In July of 2007, he moved to an office position where he supervises field crews, manages jobs and drafts field work for survey plats. He currently manages a department overseeing boundary surveys and GPS surveys, including the use of RTK for collecting survey data and Static for establishing control for surveys.

Jason D. Spencer, PLS, has over 15 years experience in the fields of Land Surveying and Civil Engineering. He began his land surveying field experience in the summer of 1994 in southwest Florida and quickly moved into a crew chief position. After 6 years in the crew chief position, he moved into an office position drafting surveys and civil engineering plans. Six years later, he moved to the Asheville area and into an office position at WNC Land Surveyors, PLLC in December of 2005. He currently manages a department overseeing boundary surveys , topographic surveys and many ongoing construction sites requiring construction staking services. He also supervises field crews, manages jobs and drafts field work for survey plats and civil engineering plans.
